About Event

Sparsh Is NIT SURAT's Annual Cultural Festival. It Usually Takes Place In The Second Or Third Week Of February.This Time The Finalized Dates Are From 19th Feb To 23rd Feb. The Largest Of Its Kind In South Gujarat, This Five-Day Festival Consists Of DAY EVENTS (Including MAJOR Competitions Like Bandwars, Sparsh Idol Etc., Informal Events) And Gala Cultural Nights. The 'Sparsh Nights' Are The Inaugural Night, Singing Night, Dancing Night, Fashion Night And The Celebrity Night. The Last Of These Is A Grand Event That Has Seen Performances By Euphoria, Udit Narayan, Shaan, Abhijeet Bhattacharya. In March 2007, Punjabi Singer Daler Mehndi Came To Perform On The Celebrity Night. The 2008 Version Was Graced By Mohit Chauhan And Gaurav Dagaonkar. The 2009 Version Saw Bombay Rockers Come To The College. The 2011 Version Boasted Of Kailash Kher's Performance. SPARSH'12 Is A Grand Success With KK Performing In The Celebrity Night. Occasionally Events Like Kavi Sammelan And Ghazal Nights Have Taken Place During Sparsh.This Time Dont Miss It!!!! Come And Enjoy With SPARSH 2013

NIT SURAT Is Situated On Athwa-Dumas Road, Surat. The Campus Is Opposite To The Ichchhanath Temple, Piplod. The Campus Is Spread Over 250 Hectares Of Lush Green Forest, Which Is Midway Between The Surat Domestic Airport And Surat Railway Station, And Is Well Connected By City Buses And Local Trains. The Campus Is Around 10 Km From The Surat Railway Station.
